Home HealthCare Service provides thoughtful in-home cooking services for seniors to ensure they have the most enjoyable experience at every meal. Our caregivers can help plan and create meals that match your specific dietary needs and food preferences while still tasting delicious. This will allow your parent to enjoy home-cooked food that has the right nutrition, without having to do any of the work.
What is meal preparation?
Our meal preparation service includes everything from planning out the menu to serving up a tasty meal. While we don't deliver meals, our caregivers can cook whatever you feel like eating. We also consider specific dietary needs or restrictions. It’s like having your own personal chef at home!
Things to Consider:
Many seniors have dietary restrictions — diabetic diets, low-sodium diets, low-sugar diets. Our caregivers can work with the senior and their loved ones to develop a healthy meal plan to ensure that proper nutrition is being met.
How much does meal preparation cost?
At HHC, we charge a flat, hourly rate regardless of the services required. This rate stays the same on weekends, nights, and holidays, so you or a loved one can get care when you need it.

What tasks are included?
Caregivers prepare and encourage proper diet and nutrition based on each client’s individual needs. During our meal preparation service, we can:

Clean and disinfect the kitchen
Things to Consider..:
The kitchen can be a dangerous place for seniors. There are heavy objects, high cabinets, and hot appliances. We can work with seniors to help them prepare meals safely. We also help with cleanup to prevent the spread of bacteria or food-borne illness.
Meal Service Hours:
Breakfast: between 7:30 and 9 a.m.
Lunch: between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Dinner: between 4:30 and 6 p.m.
